The Cadillac area is one of the best places for snowmobiling in Michigan, with miles of great trails. From McGuire's Resort you have direct access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. The White Pine Trail, which extends all the way to Grand Rapids, is just a quick zip through our parking lot. We can help you rent a snowmobile.

The Department of Natural Resources requires all sleds to have a Michigan Snowmobile Trail Permit. Permits are $45 each and are good for the winter season. Permits may be purchased upon arrival at McGuire's Resort.

Cadillac Area Snowmobile Trail Maps are available for $2 and can be purchased at our front desk.

Experience a true Nordic skiing adventure on our glacier-sculpted hills.

There's no better way to see our winter wonderland than to take off on our trails. We have ski trails on property as well as hundreds of miles in the Cadillac area. McGuire’s Resort rents adult and child skis.  Ask our front desk agents for details.

Group cross country ski lessons are available by advance appointment (minimum 48 hr). Call our Front Desk to make reservations, (800) 632 - 7302. Equipment rental is extra. Lessons are non-refundable.

Snowshoeing & Sleigh Rides

If you'd rather break trail, you can also rent snowshoes from us, made of lightweight aircraft aluminum. These allow you to take longer excursions without experiencing the muscle stress of traditional snowshoe equipment.

If you'd like to dial your winter adventures back for a while, enjoy the scenery with your friends & family during one of our magical sleigh rides.

McGuire's Resort features 5km of groomed trails. Ski trail fees are free of charge for registered guests and $5 per day for visitors. Trail fees are collected at the front desk. Snowshoe trails are always free of charge.

Nordic Skis

• Sunday through Thursday $10/per day
• Friday and Saturday $15/day
• Weekend Special (Fri. noon through Sun. noon)- $25/weekend

Snowshoes - $5/ 2 hours and $10/per day
Sleds - $1 for 2 hours
Trail Fees are waived for all resort guests

 Sleigh Rides are available Saturday Nights from 7pm until 9pm (Weather Permitting). Pre-registration in the lobby is required.

Our beautiful championship 18-hole Spruce Course winds through serene pine forests and rolling hills and is a classic design that can be enjoyed by all levels of players. Our Norway course offers nine more holes and is perfect for a quick game. We also offer lessons and have a putting green and driving range.

McGuire’s has two pristine outdoor courts, so remember to pack your racquets! The courts are free for our guests to use and are first come, first serve.

Our indoor pool is open 365 days a year. It’s a perfect place to swim while the snow is piling up outside. Take some serious laps or just splash around with the kids.

McGuire’s 1.5-kilometer Vita Trail features exercise points for jogging, walking, and hiking.
